This is a beautiful bird with striking plumage. I would have loved some more details. There are some sharpening artifacts in the image. The eye contact is fine. The perch is nice. Were you handholding? Thanks for sharing.

Yes sir this was taken hand held and lying on the ground supported on the chest.
