This image serves better for ID purposes. Not sure about the sex of this individual, no behaviour or calls were observed and there did not appear to be others in the vicinity. It was found on a steep stream bank, about 4 feet above the water level. Roughly 3 inches long (snout to vent).

(Note the toe-tips that are very different from those of the leaf-dwelling Jog Night Frog http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?15650-Jog-Night-Frog-(image-2) that is of similar size and also found in this region)

Thanks, C&C welcome.

Good details and sharpness. I liked the eye contact. Agree, the toe tips here are normal, unlike the bubble kind of in the leaf-dwelling Jog Night Frog. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

As opposed to the previous image, here one can clearly see the toes. The way the toes are gripping the rock is interesting to watch. Good record. Thanks for sharing.
