Red headed vulture in bandhavgarh Tiger reserve.

Canon EOS 40D, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 1.4xII ie. at 560mm, ISO 200, f4, 1/500th sec. I was waiting for it to fly, so didn't use the 2x Converter. I cropped 33%. So the image that you see is 67% of the original capture.

Great shot. I feel it would have looked even better as a horizontal. Also, the feet seem slightly overexposed... can that be recovered?
