The Indian cormorant or Indian shag (Phalacrocorax fuscicollis) is found mainly along the inland waters of the Indian Subcontinent...this one was enjoying the early morning winter sun & dining on the small fishes that are abundant in SGPGI's lake...

Looks like it is on a diving board :). Good details. The water droplets near the eye look nice. I feel bit less space on the left and slight more on the right in the direction it is looking would be nice. Thanks for sharing.

Common behaviour of drying their wings. It appears to be perched on a boat and the reflection has helped expose the underparts of its right wing (on our left). They often comeback to the same perch. So stealthily moving in close and waiting often results in full frame images. Thanks for sharing.
