The rufous treepie is native to the Indian Subcontinent and adjoining parts of Southeast Asia. Quite interestingly it belongs to Corvidae (crow) family. It is commonly seen in open scrub, agricultural areas, forests as well as urban gardens. Like other corvids it is very adaptable, omnivorous and opportunistic in feeding.

Nice perch and eye contact. In Ranthambore this bird has got used to human presence and comes quite close to the jeeps. Placing your copyright mark in slight smaller font at the top or bottom would be nice as presently it is a bit distracting. If this is not a full frame image, slight more space on the left would be good. Thanks for sharing.
