Nice perch. Good eye contact. Why ISO 1000? I liked the composition. Its good that you kept the space and didn't crop to make the bird bigger in the frame. Cropping 5% is fine but otherwise it induces noise and there is loss of details. Thanks for sharing.

i generally shoot all my images on ISO between 800 and 1000, so that i get details when i take the shutter speed above 1/2000s unfortunately in this image i had to bring down my shutter speed to 1/640s coz the area around the eye was getting dark with high shutter speed...

nice .I guess what mrudul meant is why a higher ISO when the subject is stationary and the light is good ..
