This composition is similar to one I had posted years ago (2009 to be precise) of a little egret. I took a walk down the same trail this year in November and was blessed with a similar sighting but one I feel more magical :)

The deer looking towards you on the path enhances the composition. The deer looks slightly hazy, was there fog? The dense tree canopy looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mrudul,
This was early in the morning and it was a bit foggy.

The road leads our eye in. Good that you had a deer on the road. It would have been even better if the deer was farther away at the end of the road. These kinds of scenes can help in creating moody imagery. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Sabyasachi
PS: From which side did you enter bhitarkanika?

Very nice. I remember this path from my 2008 visit to Bhitarkanika. The deer pushes the image up several notches. Agree that it would have been even better if it were further in the distance. It appears to have walked through knee-deep mud/water, which also adds interest.

Looks undisturbed, unspoilt...magical indeed
