This image looks much better as the bird is looking to our right and the composition works. The middle of the image which is the out of focus canopy is now partially covered due to the bird's head. So it looks better.

Near fruit bearing trees, where these birds are regular, I would suggest to set up a makeshift hide. Hanging even a gunny bag will be fine. And when you wait there, the chances of getting a close image would be better.
