This is a fascinating picture of a very beautiful animal mainly the Blue Bull female. The male, not shown in the picture is a very fearsome animal.

Lovely eyes. Liked the alert look. The background compliments the subject. Composition wise I would have preferred a more tighter crop to remove the hints of legs or a wider composition showing the full animal. Is this a crop? Then more space all around would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

thanks all for the likes and comments, i agree with you Mrudul a wider compo would have been even better but here i wanted to show just the body along with a slight hint of legs and along with the grassland thats why i did not go wide, it is 20% cropped....

I agree that including the hind portion as well as the legs would have been better. The principle is to either show the entire animal or compose along the joints. Cutting off midway gives an impression of "accidental" shot. In Gujarat the blue bull is hunted (poached) for its meat. So in a number of areas, one can find these nilgais avoiding people. Thanks for sharing.
