I was waiting for Common teal and Spotted duck to come closer, suddenly this one landed near by for few moment and flew away, did not get opportunities to compose , shot it at centre focus point.
Can 7D, 300 + 2x tc, at f/8, 1/1250 sec, Iso-1000, Ec -0.3, appx 20% cropped for composition.

Good to see this. The eye contact is fine and the depth of field covers the bird. I have seen that one can get "lucky" when you wait for a long time at a place. Too often photographers keep on moving from one place to another hoping that they can sight and click. However, I find the waiting approach often gives you close shots.
