Record images of a spiderling (juvenile) of an oxyopid or lynx spider, possibly Hamadruas sp. Found two solitary spiderlings, both were very tiny, about 2-3 mm long. It is interesting how they look like miniature versions of the adults- even the stance. :)

Prajwal Ullal's image of an adult for comparison (may not be exactly the same kind of lynx spider) : http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?16070-Hanging-in-there

EXIFs for both images:
Canon 500D, Canon 100 mm Macro USM
SS 1/60
Av 8.0
ISO 200
Both images are huge crops of the 1:1 originals

Thanks, C&C welcome.

Another image. The hexagonal eye arrangement is better visible here, as are the leg spines.

Wow just 2 mm . Its great that you could notice and photograph them. As you have mentioned, they are quite similar to the adults. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.
