You have to lower the contrast as the blacks have lost details. I too have messed up shots in the past. Today while filming for a HBO documentary, instead of zooming in I accidentally touched the focus ring and messed up a shot. :) So I can understand your situation.

Roopak, This is the first time I saw this bird here around Bhopal, but looking into the habitat around (Halhali stop dam about 50km from Bhopal) it is quite possible to be seen at least in winter. Even I do not visit this place often hence can't say exactly. Thanks
