From Bhitarkanika. Every year there a many cases of people being pulled into the river. This scene is quite common where people are used to Crocodiles basking. This particular one is a 15ft+ fellow whose territory is very close to the Gupti village.

Very natural scene nicely depicted. All three living creatures are, as if oblivious of the presence of the others. Bitharkanika has much higher density (also total number) of crocodiles compared to that of the Sundarbans where predators range from fishing cat to shark to tiger.

I agree with the composition. Reducing the colour temperature may be better.

15 foot is long. We normally don't see too many 15 feet + crocodiles.

These salt water crocodiles are known to get into small creeks near villages and also into ponds at times during high tide. People do get killed when they mostly illegally enter into the croc habitat. Surprisingly we don't hear about many people being bitten by king cobra.
