Found few robin accentors after reaching Dingboche while my trek towards EBC, Nepal. Soon after reaching the spot and then taking the meal break , I used to go for acclimatization walk which turned actually into a birdwalk:001_rolleyes:. That day we were fast moving above treeline. Dingboche [ alt 4410m ] was having only few high altitude shrubs and bushes. This individual was captured inside the village.

Nice sighting of this bird from the foothills of the Himalayas. Good eye contact. Nice perch and clean background. If this is a crop, slight more space all around would be nice. How was the birding? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul. Yes there is some crop to omit disturbing branches of the bush. I could find four species on that day - Robin Accentor, Streaked Rosefinch, Snow Pigeon & an unidentified raptor. There was fair amount of activity within the first two species. I shall post streaked rosefinch in another thread.

Benevolent eyes. Lifting up the shadows would be nice. We don't see this species often. On what date was it photographed? Thanks for sharing.
