Increase in tiger population indeed is a good sign that ''PROJECT TIGER '' IS NOT A LOST CAUSE IN INDIA.

Tigers are prolific breeders. If given sufficient inviolate space, good prey base and protection, then they can bounce back. Hopefully our forests and its denizens are protected so that the tiger can survive.
