This is taken in a farmer's field , where there is good population of this species.
I manage to set up a well camouflaged bird hide.

Yes Mrudul Ji , she was shaking off water.
Surprisingly , this beauty was using morning dew from grass to have bath and in between shaking off water when perched atop.

Nice action and pose captured. The way the head is turned gives more attention to the neck and "blue throat". Lot of noise. Underexposure and cropping has enhanced the grains/noise in the image. The blacks in the tail portion has lost details. So lowering the contrast and/or pulling up the shadows will be of help. Lowering the colour temperature will also be nice as this looks a bit yellow. Thanks for sharing.
