This is the second in the series of Spotted deer images from Sundarbans.
You can compare this image with the previous one posted here http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?16184 to realise how the mood from each image becomes different. The third in the series with one solitary cheetal has been posted in the landscape section http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?16196

Same place, camera moved slightly to the right and composed. Just a few minutes later when the spotted deers have moved away to the right.

Canon EOS 5D Mark III (Converted to Infrared), EF 70-200 f2.8 L IS II USM lens, full frame image. The focal length here was 175mm instead of the 200mm in the previous image.

Look forward to hear your thoughts.

With only two deers in the frame, the place looks more quiet and serene. I liked the way you composed with one deer on the top and one at the bottom right. Out of all the three photographs, I liked the landscape pano composition the most. Nice series. Thanks for sharing.

This comes with a sense of brooding and a hint of danger around, as if one expects a predator to jump out of the mangroves
