Sadly littering is common everywhere these days. I think chances are some photographers only might have carried a water bottle there and thrown it after use :(. Nice to see so many swallows in the background at Haserghatta :). Thanks for sharing.

True. One can see a lot of beer bottles etc also littered about.

PS: The birds behind the perched swallows are mostly Northern Pintails.

This is very sad state Recently visited Hesaraghatta there are more Beer Bottles thrown in to the lake and we could see More beer bottles floating and broken on the River bed.....

Water bottle floating on a water body. It shows that our water is not fit to drink.

"Water, Water everywhere, Not a drop to drink"...

One finds this menace absolutely everywhere these days, even in spite of the awareness. The number of beer bottles and other litter one can find on the sea bed while diving is no less alarming.
