Photographed this in Sunderbans. Saw this crocodile basking in the sun. As our launch came closer to it, it swiftly went into the water. I have got some close ups, but tried to get it full while getting into water.

Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 100-400mm L IS USM lens, f7.1, 1/1000, ISO 400, 210 mm, hand held, full frame.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Nice image. The splash has made the Salty 'Live'. This is still young. The baby and young Salt Water Crocodiles, would bask nearer to the water in the Sundarbans.
The same is not true for Marsh Crocodile. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

It is great that you got the eye contact along with the splash. The complete tail is also included in the frame with space in the direction it is moving. The hind feet shows how the croc uses it to for locomotion. Overall nice shot. Thanks for sharing.
