The Beauty of Ordinary: It is strange how we often miss the beauty for it resides in something common or ordinary. White-Breasted Water Hen found in every nook & corner of Bharatpur rarely makes it to the album. But when it does, it surely knows how to seek that special mention.

In Bharatpur, you can get them very close. The low angle looks nice. I had photographed a waterhen similarly in Bharatpur. Check this link - http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/showthread.php?10462.

I have done a horizontal framing as it was parallel to the sensor. In your case, the bird in walking into the frame, so I feel a vertical framing would have worked better in this case. Also if it was possible, as the light was from the left, waiting for it to turn towards the right would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

An offcentre composition with less space at the right and more at the bottom would have been better. Turning the camera to vertical orientation is also a good idea. At such close range, one needs to have more depth of field. Thanks for sharing.
