A delight sighting , this huge bird is a visitor in LRK,India They have excellent eyesight for spotting prey whilst gliding, but they may also steal the catch of other birds of prey, sometimes obtaining the majority of their food this way. Whilst each bird begins its migratory journey alone, imperial eagles often congregate into loose flocks of ten or more to soar on level wings, covering up to 8,000 kilometres in six weeks.
Canon EOS 7D , Sigma 150-500mm , f/8 , 1/500 , ISO-800 , +1step , Tripod used.

Nice sighting of this majestic raptor. Good eye contact. Were you using the center AF point? Thanks for sharing.
