Ruddy Shelduck ( Tadorna ferruginea), a migratory birds who visit widespread in winter.
Exposure details:Nikon D2X, Lens: Nokon 80-400( Nano) f/6.7, shutter: 1/1600, ISO:250, Hand held.

What time of the day was it captured. Wish the bird would have been parallel to the frame. Normally when we directly approach the bird, they will fly away from us. So getting the bird parallel is not easy though. A bit more brightness would have been better, as some of the blacks have lost details. Thanks for sharing.

Nice take off pose. Agree with patra sab wud been great if the bird was parallel to the sensor. If this is a crop more of rectangular framing will be good.
