It was almost closing toward the mid day when I spotted this small beauty fluttering around a dried grassy area along the dried river of SGNP and it started to test various places to rest, may be due to the high heat, and after several places it decided to rest at this spot. I tried getting close to it cautiously, initially with the zoom lens i got a few shots, but not satisfied with the result i decided to go ahead with the macro lens and get even more closer, without making it fly away. Luckily for me the beauty was steady and didnt get bothered with my presence so near by and could manage to get this beautiful(atleast for me) frame.

The colours looks sweet. Nice patterns on the butterfly. Wondering why it is called zebra blue. Just for the tinge of blue? Thanks for sharing.
