The exquisite robber

Spotted in one of the areas of SG NP, late in the evening, this beauty seemed to be taking refugee on a dried twig for the upcoming night phase. The spot and the lighting was too well set for a good frame, but being too low to the ground and less space around to get down and check the precise focusing, I missed out on getting clear focus on its frontal area. Also an attempt to get more frames failed as it took off from the place was almost vanished in the evening light.

You have captured it nicely in the given conditions. The backlit hair (setae, I think thats what it is called) look nice. It seems it has got small antennae near the eyes. Thanks for sharing.

The top portion is not in focus because the camera is not parallel to the subject. You were also using f7.1. A narrow aperture would have been better. However, most important is the focal plane passing through the main parts of the subject. Thanks for sharing.
