Nice perch and good eye contact. The ruffled feathers look nice. I would have liked including more of the background (the yellow flowers look nice) and placing the bird more to the right. That would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.


P.S - You can place the copyright mark at the bottom left or right corner.

Though you are using a compact camera, the effective focal length is huge. It would be better if you try to place the camera on some support. Cropping also reduces the quality.

Technically if the copyright information is embedded in the image then there is no need for visual copyright mark. However, for safety sake a discreet copyright mark at one corner is enough. Also one should note that for commercial applications bigger file size is required.
