Attaching a lens to a DSLR camera backward effectively decreases the minimum focussing distance. The wider the angle of the lens, the greater the magnification: a 50mm lens will provide a rough 1:1 ratio! I don't have a dedicated macro lens so I just bought an ultra cheap reverse ring adapter costing just Rs 230 and attached it to my versatile Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. Though I lost control over aperture & auto focusing but with little tweaking & experimentation, I was able to capture couple of keeper. Here's one of them..many more to come :001_smile:

Camera: Canon 60D
Lens: canon 50mm 1.8 with reverse ring adapter
Aperture: 8.0
Exposure time: 1/320
ISO: 100
Cropped image
Slight sharpening done

It stands out nicely on the light yellow flowers. The water droplets on the petals add to the composition. There is some noise in the background sue to sharpening. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

With such colours, you need to be careful about the saturation. Oversatuation leads to loss in details in the particular colour channel. Keep on trying.
