Nice sighting of this huge male. Normally they wait in the bushes before crossing the road. The composition looks fine. Is the AF point locked on the cactus on the right? Please check. Thanks for sharing.

Remarkably nice pose captured.Smelling with its exquisite noses. Beautiful horns formed in a semi lunar curve.
Jerin Bhai, look at its eyes - how suspicious it is about we, the human beings! Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Wow Jerin. Was it in the early morning. Looks like he had spotted you and observing your moves. These are real gentle beasts. Thanks for sharing.

Nice fellow. The light was low so you were at f5. Else, a narrow aperture by using f8/f9 would have helped in bringing more of the habitat in focus. I still remember the reaction of one of my ex-colleagues from Nokia, a former Finnish army veteran, who watched wide eyed and later gushed about the rippling muscles of the gaur. He was not a bit disappointed missing out on a tiger sighting because he was really bowled over by the sight of a magnificent adult male gaur at Kabini.
