One of my favourite and sweet bird - Purple Sunbird male
The breeding male is characterized by the metallic bluish-black body, and the tuft of crimson and yellow feathers under each wing. In contrast, the non-breeding male purple sunbird has a much duller ‘eclipse’ plumage that resembles the female, with yellow underparts and a dark line of feathers running down the centre of the throat.

Nice to see this sandipan. Usually external links are discouraged here.

Eclipse males are birds in transformation to the breeding plumage and you will see the purple below the throat extending all over the breast and wings gradually in various stages of transformation.

Sandipan,
Our rule is one shot in a thread, so that it is easier to critique. Else we lose focus.
