Nice picture of the tern Shyamalaji. Like the twinkle in the eye... it can get very tricky to get details on the dark parts of a bird but you have managed it well here... I was thinking of recommending the Tamron 150-600 to someone I know, looking at your pictures it seems a good buy... Thanks for sharing.

Good that there is a hint of a catchlight in the eye. Else the black on black scheme makes the eye difficult to notice. Did you get the image of the tern defecating?

The Tamron 150-600 was launched towards the end of 2013 and is better than the other third party lenses like Sigma.
