After watching Nishit's image of egret and nilgai, I thought of pulling out an old image to show that rufous tree-pies also engage in this behaviour.

This was shot in Sariska in 2004 with Canon EOS 10D, Canon EF 300mm f4 L IS USM lens at f4, 1/250 seconds, ISO 100, full frame image.

Yes. those were the days of ISO 100. I hope people now realise that there is something called ISO 100. :D

This happened quiet close to me and I couldn't back off to include the full tail of the rufous tree pie.

The Nilgai has stretched the neck for pecking and the Indian Treepie may be enjoying some insects. Goodwill nicely documented. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild
