After watching Nishit's image of egret and nilgai, I thought of pulling out an old image to show that rufous tree-pies also engage in this behaviour.
This was shot in Sariska in 2004 with Canon EOS 10D, Canon EF 300mm f4 L IS USM lens at f4, 1/250 seconds, ISO 100, full frame image.
Yes. those were the days of ISO 100. I hope people now realise that there is something called ISO 100. :D
This happened quiet close to me and I couldn't back off to include the full tail of the rufous tree pie.
