Probably monsoon is the best time to visit Konkan. If you happen to travel From Mahad, Raighdh, Maharashtra to Pune Via Bor Ghat. You will come across Breath taking views of Sahyadri Mountains with water gushing through the streams which otherwise remains dry the whole year, plenty of waterfalls pouring life in the streams..... Hear you will come across Holy place of Great Guru to The King Shivaji, Samarth Ramdas. The place popularly known as SHIVTHAR GHAL. This is the place where no satellite tracking is possible. Magnetic compass changes its direction.

Mesmerizing place. One can easily get peace of mind here. But the irresponsible tourism is really taking toll of Nature. The disposable paper dishes in the left of the image says it all.

Beautiful place. I remember going there in one of our school trips, a long time back :). The sahyadris in the background, frame the image nicely with the slight hint of waterfalls originating from them. Maybe you could have tried to use a support (if possible) to make the camera more stable.

Agree about the plastic plates, don't know when people will learn to preserve the beauty of the place :(. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely place. I think a tripod or a stable support will help you a lot in slow shutter speed situations and you will get much more details. You can experiment with a lower angle as well. There appears to be a dust spot in the sensor. Normally when you are using narrow apertures the dust spots become visible. So care needs to be taken to clean it and then while removing lenses. Thanks for sharing.

A Song written through an image of Life Eternal, music remaining intact. Wonderful creation. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

P.S: Monsoon was the favourite season of Tagore. Many of his songs on rainy season when played lead us to believe about our yearning to meet the beloved souls as if nearing us from the heaven through clouds. The murmuring sound of the flowing streams and sound of tiny drops of water falling on leaves or on ground creating mesmerism in our hearts.
