I too had a similar sighting in Bharatpur, where 2 Jackals came on the road and on looking back towards us, started moving in the other direction. Nice composition and display of habitat. Is the image intentionally softened or you have clicked it like that? Thanks for sharing.

Superb mood and feel of this photograph...the early morning cold makes the colour temperature blue....the solitary jackal lures one in...:)
