Background way too dark and attracts attention. You can post 1024 pixels on the longest side and less than 300kb file size. Bigger image helps in critiquing.

Any images editing beyond normal contrast, curves, selective processing of different layers etc doesn't get considered for the Image of the Month and also is not featured in the IndiaWilds monthly newsletter.
