Creative King sitting on his Throne

Really black-breasted weavers are the major attraction at the selected birding spots of West Bengal in this monsoon. The photograph reflects a Throne of grasses on which the male weaver sits. This grassland is now vanished from the fringes of city and town. I dont know that whether in future I shall see this bird or not.

Nice sighting. The light seems a bit harsh. There are some highlights on the crown you can try to recover in PP. If possible a slight lower angle would have been nice. The red flowers look nice. Agree with so much construction going on everywhere, the grasslands are slowly disappearing and with that the local bird species :(. Thanks for sharing.

angle of Sunlight was almost 90 degree at 11:00 am....so i could not manage the light with my DSLR and lens...surely low angle shot would be much better....Thanks a lot Madam M. Godbole
