Canon SX60 HS, 1/250, f/5.6, 89 mm, ISO-400. Full Frame. Basic PP in GIMP.
Clicked in TATR on 20-Apr-15 at 6:40 AM. This was my second visit to TATR and Gaurs were high on my mind. And the visit turned out to be heavy with Gaur sightings. This solitary hunk was enjoying his breakfast in soft early morning sunlight in a meadow near Jamni gaon in Tadoba range. He was quite far off, and we were the first and only gypsy there, he got our scent and took this posture :001_smile: 

Nice habitat shot. Massive dorsal ridge. Divergent horns. India's famous tick-birds are enjoying the benefit from the association. A nice leaf from an Indian Jungle Book. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Huge fellow. Liked the way the muscles are highlighted by the light. Good display of the habitat. Using a narrower aperture would have been nice to get more details. Thanks for sharing.
