Trying to capture a Peucetia while I found this Stick Mantis or Indian Grass Mantis (Schizocephala bicornis). Really amazing insect and had really awesome camouflage.

Its really an amazing species. You can spot if on the ground, but it can be really difficult if its on a tree. Liked the low angle and the composition. You can upload a bigger image upto 1000 pixels on the longest edge (not more than 280kb) to view it better. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks at first. The image bears a wall(not floor) where the mantis stands on. For natural environment I once placed that on some nature-borns.
