Lovely sighting. It is so well camouflaged with the rocks in the background. I think if the eyes are not open, it would be very difficult to spot. You could spot lot of birds in this Hampi trip :). Thanks for sharing.

Nice image, nice setting. Large eyes having orange irises, well taken. This Bubo bengalensis is possibly the third largest amongst our greater owls. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

Nice to see it in its habitat. The body colour matches with the rocks and if it is still then suddenly spotting it would be difficult. Thanks for sharing.
