A lone Elphant at Masinagudi (past Sinkara checkpost) during a trek.

P.S.: Krishnan has observed repeatedly large Stag parties of Chital in Masinagudi. What about present position ?

Oh Yes, huge herds now adorn the roadsides with some herd numbers over 100. This place seems to be a haven for the Chital.

Thanks. No, i could not experiment with verticals since there was another young adult elephant to the left of this guy, who decided to mock charge. As we were on foot, we did not have the luxury of a vehicle and had to beat a retreat to a safe distance . . .
