ID: Crab spider with Honey bee catch

While traversing through the Bhandup Pumping station area observed some interesting sight, a honey bee had ventured into the hind side of the flower and seemed hardly moving, out of curiosity I probed in and overturned the flower only to find a really well camouflaged crab spider holding it onto its jaws and probably feeding on it. The spider wasnt bothered by our presence in its close proximity and continued devouring its prized catch

Quite a big catch. Not sure, but is the AF point locked on the bee? Was any other angle possible? Maybe moving a bit more to the left to avoid the flower on the right would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

Great find. These predator and prey relations continue frequently. Only thing is we don't pay as much attention to the exciting but tiny creatures. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Mrudul Mam, Couldnt get much angles due to the surrounding flowers and leaves, had some more from the left, but the focussed area was less on it
