When they are there on the ground, it is mostly an indication that a tiger is not nearby. However, at times the unthinkable can also happen that a tiger sneaks in close without being noticed and catches on of those. So make no mistake and watch whatever animal is infront. There is always something in store for us if we are patient. If not the tiger, then the antics of these or their behaviour.
I was reading E. P. Gee's book The Wild Life of India. He writes about a researcher from US observing the bonnet macaques for some 7 months and getting nice insights into their behaviour and laments the fact that Indians don't take up such subjects.
Cheers,

Nice display of habitat. Liked the title :). It was really interesting to watch these macaques. Slightest of noise and all would disappear. Thanks for sharing.
