The most common sight in Mangalore

A very common sight all along the fields of Mangalore and its neighbouring Town/villages. These keelbacks would generally take refuge in the ponds of the fields and would wait patiently for hours looking out for the prey, in form of frogs and other visitors, with just the head popping out of the water.
