The marked circular necklace like coloration is clearly visible on this bird .This little male was charging gallantly to the rescue of his mate who was caught out in the open.The best image I could manage under the circumstances.Nikon 7100+150-600mm 1/800s ISO800.Hampi late morning.

PS: The charge of the light brigade was perhaps one of the most stupid acts in military history and also by humans. Never thought a painted grouse would be categorised with that. :)
