Mridul,I photographed this raptor high in the tall trees that line the Cauvery in the Basavna Betta forest about 120 Km south of Benglaru.

Nice to see this. this bird has a good presence along the cauvery, in fact many previous records of the GFE along the cauvery seem to be cases of mistaken identity.
