It was late winter evening, almost 5.15 pm, FRH gate closes at 5.30 pm, when the silence of the forest was broken by alarm call of monkeys followed by continuous call of spotted deer. The drive from the spot we were located to Dhikala gate was about 5 minutes, we decided to wait for next 10 minutes and was rewarded with this sighting.

Lovely landscape with its apex predator. The 'Corbettscape' as you call it with abundant love has remained exactly the same in this part of the tigerland during winter months (except for the Gypsy) as I saw it for the first time (Feb 1973) with eyes opened wide and absorbed its beauty. I am lost in wonder and amazement looking at your creation.
Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice one. The tiger is looking at the gypsy in the background. In Corbett during a previous trip I had noticed that the tigers come out after the gypsy movement stops.

A higher depth of field ie f8 or so using higher ISO would have been great. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Beautiful landscape and a tiger emerging through the grass makes it more special. Thanks for sharing.
