Male kingfishers and female kingfishers are are almost identical except for an orange colouration with a black tip on the lower part of the females beak
Canon EOS 7D , Canon 500mm f/4 with 1.4 converter , f/5.6 , 1/50 , +0.7 step , ISO-100 , 700mm , Beanbag used.

This was shot in a village near Alwar(Rajasthan).
I used hide and set for an hour but this guy was very much comfortable with my presence.
I purposely used ISO-100 for this image and beanbag was a great help at 1/50 shutter speed.
Almost a full frame image, Image is not even 10% crop.
