Routine for the domestic elephants collecting fodder from the forest. In this image the elephant crossing ramganga is Pawan Pari aged about 65 years. This particular elephant along with her mahut of almost 30 years named Inamdar (today he has been posted in Kalagarh after bypass surgery) have shown me the secrets of corbett from Motasaal to Khabri, Chuha Pani to almost close to Gathiarow over the past 6 years.

This particular day was her turn to collect the fodder from the forest.

@Mrudul Madame, other than monsoon season, the 90% of the ramganga stream depth is less than 3 feet. Most of the animals cross the stream from one bank to other. Even forest beat guard crosses the stream during patrol.
