Early misty morning we encountered this pair of sambar stags.

Nice coat of these Sambars. The rocky bed and the landscape is typically corbett. Less space at the left and more at the right would have strengthened the composition. Thanks for sharing.

A beautiful frame. It is almost like Reindeer on a snow covered landscape. The mist adds a tinge of blue to the backdrop. The space (as observed by Sabysachi) factor would have made this a brilliant one.

thanks for sharing

Beautiful environment composition. Agree with the above comments. Including the sambar on the right fully would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.

Very informative image. Both the Stags are healthy and in winter coat. The right one is an older stag and its coat is much darker, almost black. Both incidentally carry medium-sized thick antlers but their brow tines are long but thin. You may find robust brow tine in Peninsular India which you will be visiting soon. Thanks for sharing.
