ID: Not sure if its Calotes calotes

Spotted well camouflaged onto a dried off tree, and hardly moving(until too close to comfort). Initially went with long shot frames but later on, seeing that it wasnt much bothered by my presence, shifted to macro lens and managed some close frames of the beauty

Interesting to see that you could move close to it with a macro lens. Is it cropped? Good that you got it nearly parallel to its head. Even f18 is not enough at close distances. The flash appears to have ensured that the background becomes dark. Thanks for sharing.
