You probably mean white-throated laughingthrush (whistling thrushes have a distinct different, very recognisable shape, I guess you just momentarily mixed up the two while typing). Still, I would put this up for an ID debate... the beak looks very Turdoides babbler-like, unlike a laughingthrush's beak. I do agree however that the plumage looks a lot like a WTLT's, and yes I would put my guess on WTLT. Just not experienced enough with these Eastern Himalayan babblers to be 100% sure.

Beautiful bird. Nice perch and eye contact. I too think it looks like white-throated laughing thrush. Thanks for sharing.
