Earlier last year on a visit to Tadoba we saw Gabbar cross the road on his way to his favorite pool ,ignoring the gypsies lying in wait for him.Tadoba also seems to be going the way of Bandhavgarh. The drivers and guides need to be given more guidance on how to conduct themselves and also on how to control the hordes of unruly crowds that flock to these places expecting some sort of live entertainment. Super tiger. I have nothing against dogs. During my childhood days I had a dog and loved it and shed tears on his demise. However, when I see a collared tiger, I feel it is like a dog carrying a collar around its neck as if it needs to be restrained. My researcher friends don't agree. However, I am against invasive techniques. Sad to see this magnificent creation of God reduced to the status of an abused companion of man.

Lovely sighting of this huge male tiger. I agree with Sabyasachi, its important wild animals are treated as wild. The collar kinds of domesticates him :(. It is kind of ironic 'Gabbar' wearing a collar :). Thanks for sharing.
